Moz founded Theorem Consulting and brings more than 30 years of investment banking and financial services industry experience, advising clients across Australia, UK, Europe, Asia and South Africa.
Moz has advised on some of the largest and most high profile financial institutions M&A transactions in Australasia, including Resolution Life’s A$3.0bn acquisition of AMP’s life insurance business, AXA SA’s A$14.6 billion dollar joint acquisition of AXA Asia Pacific together with AMP and Lloyds TBS’s NZ$5.7 billion sale of National Bank of New Zealand to ANZ. Moz has also advised on dozens of capital raising transactions for clients across industry sectors, including designing and managing the successful execution of complex debt, structured capital and acquisition financing in various jurisdictions and currencies.
Moz has also prepared numerous independent expert reports on a range of corporate finance, capital markets and valuation issues in connection with corporate disputes, shareholder litigation and tax related matters.
Prior to establishing Theorem Consulting, Moz was a Director of Corporate Finance at Deutsche Bank in Sydney. Previously he spent time with Citi in London and consulting actuaries Tillinghast across their Sydney, Cape Town and London offices.
Moz holds a Bachelor of Economics (with First Class Honours) from the Australian National University and is a Fellow of the Actuaries Institute (Australia).
Raju Ahmed is a senior executive with more than 25 years of multidisciplinary expertise in strategy, capital markets, corporate finance, investments, research, operations and program delivery across high-growth environments and operationally complex organisations. Alongside his consulting work, Raju is a venture investor and adviser to early-stage companies in advanced engineering and next-generation technology sectors globally.
He began his career as an aerospace engineer before holding high-impact roles across Asia and Australia at Accenture, Qantas and Deutsche Bank, and more recently serving as Head of Research at boutique equities and corporate finance firm CCZ.
Raju holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering (with First Class Honours, Scholarship) from the University of New South Wales.
Goro Aoki is a financial services professional with experience across Australia’s major banks and in a professional services firm, advising on balance sheet, capital structure and institutional credit‑related matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Goro held roles at Westpac and Commonwealth Bank of Australia, where he worked on strategic initiatives spanning balance sheet and capital management, internal pricing, and institutional portfolio management. His experience includes developing and applying risk‑based pricing frameworks, supporting regulatory‑driven change, and contributing to the assessment and structuring of specialised credit and funding solutions.
Earlier in his career, Goro spent three years at EY in actuarial and financial risk consulting, building a strong quantitative foundation and broad exposure to complex financial and risk issues across the banking sector.
Since joining the firm, Goro has worked across complex advisory engagements, supporting clients on debt capacity assessment, capital structuring and the analysis and benchmarking of financing options.
Goro holds a Bachelor of Actuarial Studies from the University of New South Wales and is a Fellow of the Actuaries Institute (Australia).
Tahmina Rashid is a legal professional with experience across litigation, commercial advisory and law reform with experience in both law firms and academic institutions. Her practice includes M&A, corporate advisory and capital markets projects, balancing the legal and commercial demands of complex advisory matters within the context of transactional or expert advice work in litigation.
She began her career at McCabes Lawyers and later moved into an academic role at the University of London, where she is an Associate Research Fellow. The first project she worked on within this position was presented at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in 2024, and she has her first solo publication pending.
She enjoys working at the intersection of law, advisory and strategic work. Since joining the firm, Tahmina has worked across a range of corporate advisory engagements and supported a range of clients, including ASX listed companies on complex financial, capital markets and private wealth issues.
Tahmina holds a Master of Laws and a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of International Studies (Government and International Relations) from the University of Sydney. She is admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
Koko is currently in her fourth year of a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) at the University of Sydney. She has a keen interest in the intersection of law, finance, and technology and brings this perspective to her work at Theorem Consulting, where she contributes to research and analysis across client engagements.
Prior to joining Theorem Consulting, Koko gained exposure to legal practice as a paralegal at a personal injury law firm. On campus, she has three years of executive experience across student societies during her studies.
Sahara is a UNSW student with a keen interest in software development and financial technology. At university, she is an active member of various societies and performed as member of UNSW Women in Technology's Education portfolio.
She is currently studying a Bachelor of Computer Science and Bachelor of Science (Bioinformatics).
